Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a hands-on, natural healing modality, using the Universal life force energy. This is a spiritual energy, it is not tied to any one religion, culture, or tradition. Reiki allows you to accomplish healing of yourself in body, mind, and spirit. Reiki is a gentle, loving energy that contributes to your recovery and strengthening capabilities. Examples of how Reiki can help you, are: it reduces stress, promotes your own abilities for healing of disease and broken bones, and relieves cancer-treatment-side-effects. Reiki is excellent for relieving pain. Because Reiki is Universal and can transcend time and space, distance Reiki can be sent anywhere you request, to yourself or loved ones far away. Carol will also give Reiki to pets and horses.

In Reiki treatments, the client lies on a massage table, fully clothed, or sits in a chair. The Reiki practitioner places her hands gently on your body in specific locations. Reiki energy travels through her hands to your physical body and your bioenergy fields which penetrate and surround your body, for emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical healing. Most recipients sense the energy as heat or a tingling sensation. Typical sessions last 50 minutes. You will be very relaxed and peaceful after a treatment, yet at the same time, feel energized. Reiki also assists you in finding and walking on your path to spiritual growth, wherever it leads.
