Carol received all of her Reiki training in Santa Barbara, California, where she was taught the traditional Usui Reiki. She is a Reiki Master and Teacher, carrying on the methods of thorough, complete training, with lots of time for hands-on practice in her classes.

Her intuition led her to start learning the harp in 2000, and led her to the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP) to be trained as a Certified Music Practitioner. To learn more about MHTP, go to http://www.mhtp.org   In 2002 Carol recorded and produced her first CD, titled Angel Connection, which is pure, solo harp music for healing, relaxation, and meditation.  Her second CD, titled Crystal Harp, was released March, 2004, and consists of her own compositions, played on solo harp. Carol added the ethereal sounds of crystal bowls to most of the songs on this CD.

Carol teaches meditation classes. Many of her meditation students asked her to record her soothing voice leading guided imagery, to help them in their meditation practice at home. That led to her CD, A Lotus for You, and features 74 minutes of blissful meditations, with her harp music as background.

Carol has a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology (1979), and has worked as a wildlife biologist and national park ranger since 1980. In October, 2008, Carol retired from the National Park Service to dedicate her full-time work to Reiki and Therapeutic Harp Music. She carries a deep respect and love for planet Earth and all of its inhabitants and elements. The Earth is in need of our healing energies and spiritual connections.

The two cats (brother and sister, Tickles on the right and Whisper on the left) pictured below are the current feline companions in a life-long procession of cats. They love Reiki, and the harp!
